Deleting Bookmarks and Folders

WebCD Globe Deleting Bookmarks and Folders

Use any of the following methods to delete bookmarks and folders from the Bookmarks View.

Edit Menu

1 In the Bookmarks View, click on the bookmark or folder that you wish to delete.
2 On the Edit menu, select Delete. The Confirm Delete dialog appears.
3 Select Yes to confirm the deletion.
Note You can avoid the Confirm Delete dialog by pressing the CTRL+DEL keys to delete a selected item.

Shortcut Menu

1 Click the right mouse button on the item in the Bookmarks View that you wish to delete.
2 Click Delete. The Confirm Delete dialog appears.
3 Select Yes to confirm the deletion.

Keyboard

Highlight an item and press the DEL key. Select Yes on the Confirm Delete dialog.

Press CTRL+DEL to bypass the Confirm Delete dialog.
